HOUZZ PRO ALTERNATIVES FOR CONTRACTORS.

Houzz Pro is a software subscription, with the Pro plan at $199 a month, and its advertising is sold separately from $499 a month. Most plans are 12-month contracts, and a Project Match request can go to up to six pros. The main alternatives are marketplaces that charge per lead, like Angi and Thumbtack, and your own ads, run by your team or a partner like BINA.

How many pros reach the same homeowner

Houzz's help center says a Project Match lead comes from a homeowner who fills out a questionnaire on Houzz, and that it matches them with up to six pros. Its blog says the homeowner gets each pro's contact details and Houzz profile.

What you control

In your lead settings you can choose budget levels from $ to $$$$, the scope of work, services and location, though Houzz says this is only for select pros, and you can change lead locations yourself only in some metro areas.

The alternatives to Houzz Pro

Which one fits

Houzz Pro can suit a firm that wants its project software and a Houzz profile homeowners can browse, as much as the leads. BINA suits contractors with a sales team who want leads no other contractor gets, with no annual contract, starting at $5,000 a month in ad spend. How we charge has our full pricing.
